Software Controls Design and Engineering Standard Work Instruction
Software Design Engineer will receive all information related to the initial kickoff of the project.
RFQ (Request for Quotation or all information related to the customer requirements.)
SOW (Scope of Work or all information related to the customer requirements.)
Customer Specifications (All customer specifications for the project, hardware control requirements, example drawings and logic.)
Sensor requirements (Function, quantity, etc.)
Sequence of Operations
Includes Cylinder, Sensor Naming Information and Timing.
Software Design Engineer will generate all logic for sequencing and operations.
Design and Engineer all PLC, PAC (Programmable Logic/Automation Controller), logic.
Logic to control operations of equipment.
Design and Engineer all HMI (Human Machine Interface) operator screens.
Operator interfacing and messages.
Design and Engineer all Robotic programs.
Interfacing to PLC/PAC, and Sequencing.
Software Design Engineer will assist build with machine power-up and electrical debug.
Initial steps would include Software Installation and debug.
Completing Software debug.
Upon Completion of the power-up debug phase the Software Design Engineer will assist in customer buyoff.
Upon Completion of the equipment installation the Software Design Engineer will assist with all final checks and make any required software modifications.
Requires travel to customer facility.
